I would like to introduce you all to my first world problem.
On the top we have my “crafting station”…obviously nothing can be created here, and on the bottom we have the “storage room”…this is basically a ginormous version of a junk drawer. My problem boils down to the fact that somewhere in my little brain it has become the worst of sins to throw out any craft supplies or really anything that could eventually be used as a craft supply. (Before you all sign me up for Hoarders, please know that the rest of the rooms in the house are somewhat organized and at a “non hoarding level”, and the storage unit is shared with S’s family…so really only half of that stuff is ours). I need to work on this storage room so that when I organize my craft station I can put some of the “oh so precious” fabrics, yarns, and doodads that I don’t use as often in storage. Until then all the creativity and fun artsy ideas I’ve had bobbing around my head for the past week will have to wait.
Ugh. It’s exhausting just to look at those pictures. I’m pretty sure I could solve both of the issues here with some fancy shelving, bins, and expensive organizing tools, but money is not really coming in at the moment. So, tomorrow I’m attacking that storage room with whatever I have on hand. I do have a gazilion of those cute mason jars, although I think this project demands more than I can get from Pinterest. I’ll check back in with progress pictures.
