City Living

I’m wondering if this is just what I signed up for. Ants, water damage, holes in the ceiling, no parking, spraying for bedbugs (gross), construction starting at all hours of the morning (honestly they started working on the apartment above me at 6:30 this morning.) I gave up comfort for the chance to see the Space Needle and Mt. Rainier on my commute to work. Is it worth it? Is what I’ve been asking myself.

How comfortable should I expect to be while living in the city. Can I afford to live in a decent apartment or is this what I get for the price? Management here seems nice, but at the same time they kind of suck at their job. There is absolutely no communication between the maintenance crew and the landlord. Also side note: The word “landlord” how awful is it? Like they lord over me and my apartment…which is true, but honestly you think they would have come up with a better word by now.

Anyways, since I was up at 6:30 this morning Willy got a massive amount of pets. Yes, I woke him up. If I have to be awake at this ungodly hour so does he, and he is so patient and puts up with me 😀 Let me be a cat lady for a second and post this video of my city kitty:

Well, the bulldozers have started up again, so that’s my cue to start getting ready for the day. Thanks for reading my whiny complaints!
